This video player does the bare minimum of what is absolutely required of it. It reliably plays .wmv videos, and it does so smoothly. But that's it. It has no unnecessary but convenient features (playlist support and customization of any sort, for example) and supports no other file formats. It's fast forward and rewind functions are also a bit annoying--the increments by which they move the video are counterintuitive and cannot be customized.

The core of this program is actually a DMM player, which can be found in its installation files - this explains why you need to login to play the DRM - protected videos. But this does not mean that you can use an original DMM player to play the downloaded videos - They do not share the same certificate. If you can not login, you need a VPN that changes your ip to Japan. The program spends too many efforts in copyright protecting and too little in video playing - it runs very slow, moreover it even does not tell you that you can press Alt + Enter to quit fullscreen mode. I must say that buying a DVD is much better than downloading these encrypted wmv videos - so in convenient.

The app does not work with all downloaded videos. Furthermore, the app requires password to watch downloaded videos sometimes. Hence, I am reluctant to purchase anymore videos as this app seems to be too restrictive and unreliable.

Required for watching R18.com movies, this is a workable video player. The movies played cleanly, and connecting to the vendor occurred without difficulty. Knowing keyboard shortcuts would have been nice (experimentation will show a lot), but it works. More about content protection than being a competitive video player, it's short on features, but does its job.
